In 2003 in a flat above an amp shop in Denmark Place, Joe and Gem first plotted National Snack. Since then we have enjoyed many line-ups. First came the pomp and circumstance of a seven piece extravaganza, then the inimitable Mini-Snack stamping their acoustic, shouty way around the rooftops of Soho and the streets of Europe. Then the fully vocally loaded 5 piece, and for the last couple of years an uncompromising punk motown steamroller of a 3-piece. This most recent line-up producing the Apply Machine Ep. Click here to read the reviews. That's pretty much all you need to know. We've done a load of good gigs and a bunch of bad ones, we've played on islands, on rooftops, in basements, on tables, at festivals, on the radio, in Russia, in America, Denmark Spain and Germany. |

Joe and Gem would like to thank all those who have involved and un-involved themselves in National Snack line-ups over the past few years and all those who will do so in the future. Thank you in no particular order to Chaz, Weisan, Andy, David, Pete, Alejandro, Alejandro R, Kimwei, Dave S, Dave B. Special thanks go to Carmen and Phil both of whom offered huge amounts of their time and energy, not to mention their personal lives, in the pursuit of Snacky music. Lastly but by no means leastly - huge thanks to our ever supportive families. |
